Silence...

Written by Asian Federation at 19:05 15/8-2012

Things have been quiet within the team the last weeks. After the promotion to division 5, the team has had problems getting results. Both Amundsen and Maaskant have achieved a 9th place, the only two results worth mentioning in division 5.

The manager chooses to stay positive, with two strong TT riders in the front he is sure the team will bounce back. He blames the randomness of the sport, and claims that his team has been unlucky. In all of the division 5 races, a top 3 placement has been within reach.

  Joakim had this to say:

"I am positive the team will strike back soon. Cappon is getting older, but he is absolutely good enough for this division. Amundsen has exceded our expectations, when he maxed with an overall of 47. Cappon and Amundsen are both great TT riders, and they will surely find their form. Benoit Köehler is also looking exciting, and if he doesn't max early, we are sure he will become a great captain for the future. He will be focusing on hills and mountains, a landscape previously untouched by Asian Federation."

Yeah, I also figured Köehler fits the profile quite well, but i f'ed up and used his top form by accident. I'm also short on money, so I won't be able to get him to a high enough level before the tour starts.

Joss at 21:51 15/8-2012
Amundsen should maybe be a little bit better in hills, but I still think he can do very well in top form. My former tt-rider, Reginald Haney, finished 3rd last season without top form..

Benoît Köehler can also do well there if he maxes high :)

Asian Federation at 20:18 15/8-2012
You really think Amundsen could pull that off? I mean, the tour is TT heavy, but I would reckon he would lose to much on the other stages.

But yes, I have noted Fast on Wheels, and I do believe I will be in division 5 at day 72. I'll be hoping Cappon or Amundsen can win one of the Time Trials. :)

Joss at 19:12 15/8-2012
If you stay in Division 5 until day 72 you can join the tour Fast on Wheels. I promise, the tours are really fun, you should try it ;)
I'm sure Tarjei Amundsen can win the Youth Classification in top form!:)
